St. Paddy's Day Inspired Zero-Proof Cocktails With a Twist.
We love a theme and any reason to celebrate, so we're thrilled to have another reason to concoct amazing zero-proof options for what is traditionally an alcohol heavy holiday. We believe there's even more to celebrate when you have options to make a holiday alcohol-free.
Our Take On Irish Coffee
Are you a coffee lover like we are? We come by it honestly being in the Seattle area! Irish Coffee is not only a St. Paddy's day staple but it makes a frequent appearance on brunch menus everywhere. If you love the idea but don't want the alcohol we have just the perfect recipe for you with an added fizzy kick.
Zero-Proof Fizzy Irish Coffee
- Freshly brewed coffee or espresso
- Steamed milk
- 1 oz NA Whiskey
- 2 oz DRY Vanilla Botanical Bubbly
- Whipped Cream
- Cinnamon
Fix your coffee or espresso as you normally would. We used two freshly pulled espresso shots and steamed milk. Add to your glass of choice, add whiskey and Vanilla Botanical Bubbly.
Top with Whipped Cream and Cinnamon to taste.
This is the perfect morning or afternoon pick-me-up!
Luck of The Irish
With St.Paddy's Day being a mere three days away from the start of spring we couldn't help but bring a lovely spring-like drink into the mix! Inspired by The Wild Irish Rose cocktail, our zero-proof version is every bit as wild and charming with none of the bite.
The Ginger Rose
- 1 oz Portland Syrups Rose Cordial
- 1 oz NA Whiskey
- .25 oz Lemon juice
- 5 oz Chilled DRY Ginger Botanical Bubbly
- Dehydrated rhubarb or strawberry grounds
Pour chilled DRY Ginger Botanical Bubbly into a coupe. Over the back of a bar spoon gently pour in the Rose Cordial Syrup and then the NA Wiskey. When done correctly the liquids should form layers in the glass. Top with rhubarb or strawberry grounds.
It's Tea Time Somewhere
Perhaps you're more of an afternoon tea kind of person? If you love a spot of tea with breakfast and always wonder what you can do with the cold leftovers... this cocktail is for you. With a slightly bitter kick of tea and a dash of caffeine, it's the perfect 5 o'clock jolt.
Irish Breakfast Mar-tea-ni
- 1 oz NA Whiskey
- 2 dashes of orange bitters
- .25 oz honey syrup
- 3 oz strong Irish Breakfast tea, cooled.
- 2 oz DRY Blood Orange Botanical Bubbly
In a cocktail shaker add ice, NA whiskey. bitters, honey syrup, and tea. Shake until cold and well combine. Strain into a martini glass and top with DRY Blood Orange Botanical Bubbly. Garnish with an orange peel.
Whether you are celebrating St. Paddy's Day at home or simply looking for a great zero-proof whiskey cocktail to take you into spring, all of these recipes will fit the bill!
