When I had four children, I wasn’t going to let a lack of wine or cocktails stop me from having a great beverage, so I created my own! I worked with some of the Pacific Northwest’s leading chefs, to learn how to use unique flavor notes to create sparkling beverages that are simple and unexpectedly palate pleasing.

In 2005, I launched DRY Soda Company and today we are not just a botanical bubbly, we elevate what zero-proof options can be and bring people together to celebrate every moment – big and small. Thank you for letting us be a part of your celebrations. It means everything to us. Cheers!

Flavors Fit for Celebration DRY

DRY creates sophisticated, innovative beverages worthy of every toast whether enjoyed on their own or as the foundation of a zero-proof cocktail. Made with 4 simple ingredients and a good personality, each unique flavor is designed with a different intensity, sweetness and acidity level to pair perfectly with different cuisines for a less-sweet, full flavor drinking experience.

  • Product Information

Q: What is a DRY Botanical Bubbly?

A: DRY is a product and a lifestyle! As DRY the company, we work to elevate non-alcoholic drinking and create beverages to include everyone in the celebration. DRY Botanical Bubbly features the flavors of fruit, flowers, and herbs sweetened with a touch of cane sugar. All our drinks are Non-GMO Project verified.

Q: How is DRY Botanical Bubbly different from other Seltzers or Sparkling Waters?

A: DRY Botanical Bubbly is meant to be enjoyed, sipped and savored. It’s not a drink to pound to quench your thirst but was made for those special occasions when you want to treat yourself and your guests. We focus on elevating the flavors to create a crisp, light flavor that is slightly sweet and has different acidities to pair with food. It was built to be a better for you indulgence either on the rocks or as a non-alcoholic mixer, not an everyday chugger.

Q: What ingredients are used in DRY Botanical Bubbly?

A: We have added nutritional facts and ingredients to each flavor. You can browse our full product line here.

Q: Why do you use cane sugar?

A: We designed DRY Botanical Bubbly to be better for you indulgence and while we are watching our sugar as well, we wanted to make sure that created something that tasted amazing – not too sweet, balanced, but also true to each flavor. During Sharelle’s “kitchen sessions” creating each flavor, she found that a touch of sugar was needed to really elevate the experience. DRY uses non-GMO cane sugar, which is less processed than refined or artificial sweeteners, but we also use it judiciously with 1/3rd of the sugar of traditional N/A celebration drinks and soda, giving us something that is worth celebrating about!

Q: Does DRY Botanical Bubbly have less sugar than traditional sodas?

A: Yes! DRY Botanical Bubbly has about 60% less sugar than traditional sodas with about 11 g per serving.

Q: What are “natural flavors?”

A: “Natural flavor” is a term that’s required by the FDA to describe any flavor that comes from naturally occurring sources. DRY Botanical Bubbly uses Non-GMO Project verified flavors, so you can be sure that we use the best ingredients available.

Q: Why do you use phosphoric acid / what is it?

A: Phosphoric acid is a naturally occurring acid. It’s used in DRY Botanical Bubbly as a clean preservative and to add “bite” to the flavor profile. Phosphoric acid also naturally occurs in meats, cheeses, beans, and many other foods.

Q: Does DRY Botanical Bubbly expire?

A: Yes – you can find best-buy dates on all DRY Soda Co. products. They are listed on the bottom of the DRY Botanical Bubbly cans and lightly etched into the glass on the neck of DRY Botanical Bubbly bottles.

Q: What happened to DRY Sparkling Soda and DRY Zero Sugar?

A: DRY Zero Sugar was discontinued in 2019. DRY Sparkling Soda changed its name in the Spring of 2020 to DRY Botanical Bubbly. While DRY is technically a soda – a carbonated drink – we have found that the name is kind of confusing. We wanted to find a name that better explained what we are! We are a simple, 4 ingredient bubbly drink that works to elevate non-alcoholic drinking.  We use cane sugar to naturally elevate the flavor (only 9 g of sugar) to create a lightly sweet, sophisticated profile that is perfect on its own, pair with foods and to create best-in-class craft zero-proof cocktails.

Q: Can I buy DRY Botanical Bubbly online?

A: Yes – you can buy via our online storeAmazon.com or at other retailers, you can find here

Q: Why can’t I buy all DRY Soda Co. flavors/products at my local grocery store?

A: Each store decides which flavors they carry, so the selection can vary. Please let your store manager know you’re interested in a certain flavor, as they will be very receptive to hearing what you would like to purchase or visit our online store.

Q: Why did DRY Sparkling Soda change its name?

A: While DRY is technically a soda – a carbonated drink – we have found that the name is kind of confusing.

Q: Are you still Non-GMO and Kosher?

A: We have maintained our non-GMO and Kosher certifications.

Q: Why “Botanical Bubbly?”

A: Our DRY fanatics helped us pick the name. We worked with various groups of DRY enthusiasts and DRY newbies to discuss names that better describe the DRY vibe and experience. You guys helped articulate both the unique flavor profile, but also how you use DRY to celebrate in a more modern way!

Q: What happened to Juniper Berry and Rhubarb?

A: Unfortunately, we no longer make either of these flavors. They are personal favorites as well and we think of bringing them back from time to time … you never know what might in store! But, for now, they are not available.
