The Five Best Mocktails For Any Season

Mocktails are becoming the norm, as chefs, mixologists, restaurants, health buffs and media alike are embracing the non-alcoholic movement. In fact, US alcohol sales have been declining for three years in a row! Why is this trend catching on now? Some people are simply looking to avoid the evils of a hangover, some never drank alcohol in the first place. Of course, there are the moms who are preggo and nursing, but also the designated driver, the person who works out early in the morning, the one avoiding booze for health reasons, and the friend on a cleanse. We’re also seeing a preference towards quality over quantity, ie consumers would rather drink one 12 oz. craft soda with real ingredients than a styrofoam cup of brown bubbles filled with mystery ingredients.

As much as we like to think of DRY Sparkling soda as a mocktail on its own, we realize that the act of mixing up a drink makes it feel a little extra special! We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite non-alcoholic recipes that are perfect for your next baby shower, barbecue, holiday party, or night in. The best part is – they are SUPER easy, customizable and never too sweet.

We created this mocktail for every baby shower and brunch where you want to sip out of that celebratory champagne glass… minus the champagne. And don’t let the name fool you – this drink is for anyone, “Dad-osa” and “friend-osa” just don’t quite have the same ring to them.
